Introduce children aged 4 to 10 to coding, logic and mathematics without screens with PrimaSTEM, an educational robot that grows with the learner and combines programming, drawing and hands-on experimentation.
Features
PrimaSTEM is an educational robot designed to support children as they learn programming from ages 4 to 10 and beyond. Younger learners can explore logic, movement, rotations, mazes and loops, while older children can work with distances, angles, arithmetic and geometry.
Programming is carried out without a screen using a wooden remote control and cardboard command tokens equipped with NFC technology. Children build their program directly on the remote control, observe the result immediately and can identify and correct their own mistakes.
The robot can hold a standard felt-tip pen to draw shapes, geometric figures or spirals directly on paper by following programmed instructions. Its movement step can be adjusted to work with different grids, mats or self-made printed and drawn supports.
PrimaSTEM also features text-to-speech in more than 17 languages. The robot can pronounce words, letters of the alphabet and mathematical operations, as well as play musical notes.
A progressive educational method is available online, covering everything from first programs to functions, loops, distances, angles and arithmetic concepts. From age 10, learners can also program PrimaSTEM on Vittascience using a visual block-based programming interface.
You can try PrimaSTEM directly in your browser at vittascience.com/primastem/.
